Rose Tattoo has lost their 4th member in 4 years. Rhythm guitarist Mick Cocks has died from liver cancer after being diagnosed in April this year.
Micks Cocks was a founding member for Rose Tattoo. He formed the band in 1976 with the late Pete Wells, who had recently left Buffalo. Ian Rilen, also now deceased was the bass guitarist.
At one stage in 1981, the band also featured guitar legend Lobby Loyde, who died of cancer in 2007.
Rose Tattoo are one of Australians greatest ever bands. They inspired Guns N Roses, who recorded a cover of their song Nice Boys on G N R Lies.
The bands hits include Bad Boy For Love, We Cant Be Beaten and One of the Boys.
Mick was also a former member of Heaven and one-time member of Ted Mulry Gang.
