Overview:

The 2007 Bon Scott Celebration Concert raised the money for a statue celebrating the greatest rock'n'roll frontman of all time (according to UK "Classic Rock" magazine June edition). On 24 February 2008 the statue will be unveiled at another heavy rock extravaganza at Claremont Showgrounds!

The line-up for the Aussie Rock Celebration Concert - The Bon Scott Statue Concert includes Rose Tattoo, The Screaming Jets, Noiseworks, Dave Hole, The Angels Band and The Party Boys classic all star line up. Playing in The Party Boys will be Australia's two greatest rock guitarists Kevin Borich and Randall Waller, Angel's drummer Graham 'Buzz' Bidstrup, original AC/DC lead singer Dave Evans, Mondo Rock bass player Paul Christie and original AC/DC bass player Mark Evans.

We are also pleased to announce that the original rhythm section of Status Quo John Coghlan on drums and Alan Lancaster on bass guitar, will reunite with The Party Boys for the first time in many years especially for this show. Coghlan and Lancaster will play some classic Status Quo heavy rock hits in the same mould as the classic Bon Scott era AC/DC hits together with some of Bons heavy boogie rockers.

Further very exciting additions to the Party Boys all star line up will be announced in the coming weeks together with some extra special guests who will appear at the statue unveiling concert in front of an expected crowd of 20,000 !!
